On Friday last, all the pupils, apart from Junior Infants, took the ten minute walk from the Prep School to the Everyman Theatre to see a performance of Aladdin.

Vaccination Swine Flu vaccinations will take place on Monday 21 December, from 8.30am to 9.30am approximately.  Only pupils who have brought in (or bring in) a signed parental permission form will be vaccinated.  Parents may wait while vaccination takes place. CBC’s annual newsletter logs the highlights of the previous year.  The 2009 edition has just been published.  The cover features a picture of Rory Crotty who achieved the highest results in the Leaving Certificate Examination in Ireland in 2009.  The back page describes some of the school’s sporting victories, including winning the Munster Senior Rugby Cup [...]

Excitement is mounting as the time of the Christmas concert draws closer.  A final dress rehearsal was held this morning and everything is now ready for the performance at 7.30pm this evening.  Parents are asked to drop their sons to the Secondary School building by 7.10pm to give some time to get organised.

Hopefully the pottery will be dried out soon and ready to be given as Christmas presents

The Parents Council Fund-Raising Dinner is scheduled for Friday 15 January 2010 at the Montenotte Hotel.  It is hoped to have eight tables, one for each class in the Preparatory School.  Class representatives will be selling tickets from tomorrow onwards (fifty euro per ticket) and hope to sell a minimum of ten pairs per class [...]

The frost did not stop the hardy boys from the Prep School getting on with their sporting activities on the Astroturf.
