Wednesday, October 7

Fifth Class held a First Aid Workshop today.

Our thanks to Pat Lowry for facilitating the Workshop.

The boys learned about how to make an emergency call and also were shown how to administer CPR. Pat had brought a number of mannequins for the students to practice their skills and was a very enjoyable and worthwhile Workshop. He also showed the Class the large amount of equipment the Emergency Services needed when travelling to an incident.

Boys from the School were involved in a Mini Sevens Blitz on Friday, September 25.

The boys played very well in their games against Cork Educate Together, Riverstown and Glenville.

Well done to Glenville on winning through to the next stage and to Riverstown who were fantastic hosts.

A great day at our Sports Complex at Lansdowne. The School hosted Munster v Ulster in U18 Schools and U18 Clubs games.

There were a number of CBC students involved with the Munster U18 Schools teams. Glad to say that both Munster teams won on the day.
