Sports Day at CBC is always a popular day and thankfully, the sun was shinning for our Annual Outing on Thursday, May 15.
The whole school availed of the excellent facilities at the Mardyke, UCC and proved to be a popular venue for all.
Over the course of the day students experienced events such as 100m Sprint, Egg & Spoon Race, Wheelbarrow Race, Sack Race, Puc Fada, Long Jump, High Jump, Bean Bag Race and Penalty Shoot-Out.
Sixth Class had their own special event in the Novelty Race and again, the style was outstanding from all participants!
There was even time later in the day for a Tip Rugby and Soccer Blitz. An exhausting day all round!!
